Excitable, Aren't We?

I've decided that, although this world seems to be a bit confused and chaotic at the moment, we will get through it. I don't see how we couldn't. But that's beside the point.

My other blog got considered spam I guess? I never posted on it anyway, so I'm not completely worried about it.

----------------
There's something that bothers me. It's when in my politics class people throw out jokes at President Bush. Now, don't get me wrong...I don't like the guy either, and he has managed to mess up numerous things, but at the same time...I find it absurd that people feel they can insult a man who has one of the toughest jobs in the world. I don't agree with his tactics, I don't like how he tends to present himself, but I can at least respect a man who is trying to run a nation and keep it from falling apart.

Let the man be! His term is almost up! Then we'll most undoubtedly have a Democrat in office, be it Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Obama.

I wish people wouldn't vote based on party affiliation. Why can't we look past parties and look at the man/woman who is trying to lead us? Those who vote based on party are close minded it seems. But I can't persuade a soul. Those rifts are far to deep to fill and cross.
